My Bio
I don't have a particular style and my taste in the work of others is nothing but varied - I like what I like! I'm not working within the arts and haven't been all that active since graduating in 2012 but I still dabble and have kept this page as somewhere to post my work. I'll never be a professional, I just like sharing what I do and I appreciate any feedback. I love giving and receiving feedback, positive and negative! I have been somewhat lazy with my own work these past few years but I always have time to appreciate the work of others and help where I can!

summer :(

0 min read
So summer has all but gone away and I am yet to go on holiday (September 4th wooo!) but yeah, I don't start back at Uni until October 5th (my 22nd birthday, how unlucky is that!)so I have been thinking about some ideas for "creative" works before then. I have been interested in photograms for quite some time and last year I did focus on photograms for a project or two - being heavily influenced by the work of Susan Derges and many others like Man Ray and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy to name a few - but my work concentrated on the objects being used rather than the technique. I was interested in re-using and recycling unused and unwanted objects, items

catch up

0 min read
I promised myself i'd be able to go and see whatever exhibitions I wanted to over the summer, regardless of the company I had to keep or even lacked - alas once again I have failed, and even though i'm only a month into my break from University I do feel as though i've already let myself down. I really wanted to catch as many local exhibitions as possible, and yet I haven't - and now the artists and photographers have packed up their works and some other people I probably wont get to see have started exhibitiing... These past few weeks have been very difficult for me emotionally and so my work has suffered, I have a feeling that I will not be achieving a great mark for this one but for the duration I have learnt a lot about myself. I usually struggle with talking about anything infront of people, but since I have come to terms to the fact that it isn't gona help me (unless I just want to fail University and be alone all my life) I have started to be more relaxed when
